Product- PeopleGrove is a career and experiential learning platform that connects users with opportunities such as internships, projects, scholarships, volunteering, capstones, and professional networking.
This project focused on evaluating the existing user experience and redesigning key areas of the platform to create a cleaner, more accessible, and career-focused mobile experience.
Using a user-centered design process, I gathered student feedback, identified usability challenges, developed a persona and journey map, and created wireframes and interactive low and high fidelity prototypes and mockups.
Project Duration, Role & Responsibilities-
Duration: May 2026-June 2026
Role: UX Designer
Responsibilities: User research, Survey Design, Research Analysis, Persona Development, Empathy Mapping, Journey Mapping, Wireframing, Low-Fidelity Mock Ups and Prototyping, Usability Testing, Iteration, Visual Design, Accessibility Considerations, and High-Fidelity Prototyping.
Problem Statement- PeopleGrove's existing experience makes it difficult for students to quickly find and access important academic and career opportunities. A cluttered dashboard, weak visual hierarchy, inconsistent terminology, and a lack of clear navigation increase the effort required to complete common tasks.
Goal- Design a cleaner, more accessible, and career-focused mobile experience that helps students efficiently discover opportunities and access important academic resources.
